Who's excited about Jackie's return?
She had to be written out of the series in 2012 after Jennifer Esposito's health problems interfered with her ability to work full-time.
But on Blue Blood Season 13 Episode 21, Jackie will return to work with Danny and Baez on a case - and she's not the only one returning!
Spoilers say Jackie's return revolves around a copycat killer emulating another murderer.
It's unclear whether this case will connect to one that Jackie and Danny worked together or if she's investigated a similar murder in her new position. Spoiler photos show her wearing a jacket with "chief" on it, so she may be the chief of another precinct.

Jack Boyle, Erin’s ex-husband showed up on Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 19, mostly to push Erin’s buttons.
At least that’s how it came across.
From constantly forgetting that she no longer uses the last name Boyle, to taking a meeting for a plea deal he had no intention of accepting, Jack seemed to enjoy irritating his ex.
And his 25-year-old girlfriend/associate named Mandy, definitely helped that cause.
Frank: So is she?
Erin: Is she what?
Frank: Hot?
Erin: In a cheap sort of way, I suppose.
Permalink: In a cheap sort of way, I suppose. Added: April 07, 2017
I had to wonder why Erin lets Jack get under her skin to such a degree. Yes, getting annoyed with your ex isn’t unusual but they’ve been divorced for quite some time.
Erin should be smart enough not to allow Jack the satisfaction of her reaction, if for...

Juno and the Paycock Directed by Charlotte Moore The Irish Repertory Theatre 132 W. 22nd St., NYC October 20-December 29, 2013
Watching “Captain” Jack Boyle’s pronouncement regarding Ireland’s civil strife -- “We’ve got nothin’ to do with these things, one way or t’other. That’s the Government’s business, an’ let them do what we’re payin’ them for doin’” -- about 24 hours after a more than two-week government shutdown lent a little extra resonance to the Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Sean O’Casey’s Juno and the Paycock. The personal is always the political in O’Casey’s work, and Juno, part of his acclaimed Dublin Trilogy, skillfully interweaves the two as it follows the Boyle family’s fortunes’ (imagined) rise and fall in a 1922 Dublin tenement.
Shades of brown dominate the peeling walls of James Noone’s set, which the cast fills admirably. The titular characters,...

The Reagan family is full of surprises. Apparently they aren't only ready "To Protect and Serve" the general public but they have secret code words in order to protect one another as well.
But let's start from the beginning.
When Danny learned that Raul Delgado disappeared from the system after being sentenced to prison for murder, I knew something was up. So it wasn't a huge surprise to find out he was an informant for Homeland Security but that didn't mean the story didn't have some unexpected twists.
Danny took an entire Swat team to capture Delgado. So why was he the only one to jump through that window and chase the man? There were several people on that team. Did they all just decide they'd let Detective Reagan handle it? One of my pet peeves about this show is that sometimes it tries too hard to make Danny look like a hero.

The Reagans walked the line as they watched Danny get "Framed" for cocaine possession and tried to believe that the system they've dedicated their careers to would eventually find him innocent.
But it sure wasn't easy.
First off, I had to wonder how plausible it was for a uniformed officer to ask an off duty detective if he could search his vehicle. I would have guessed that once Danny showed his badge, he would have been waved on his way, but there's certainly the possibility that I'm wrong.
Unfortunately, that game of which bill should we pay bingo that Danny and Linda were involved in only made Danny look like more of a candidate for police corruption. At the same time I kept thinking that if he was selling drugs, wouldn't he have had the money to pay those bills? Doesn't it send up a red flag when a cop...

"Old Wounds" walked the fine line between love and hate, truth and lies, and the difference between fighting for justice and being a vigilante.
We'll start with justice. Lily Rivera certainly never got any. The four men who gang raped her walked away on a technicality and she's suffering from such a bad case of Ptsd that she'd prefer to be dead. To see those men high-fiving one another in court as they got away with it must have been horrifying.
I could understand how the detective just snapped. I was surprised he didn't shoot the third man. He'd already killed two of them. I can't imagine taking out the third would have changed his case any and I doubt Danny would have shot him to stop it.
As Danny confessed in his conversation with Jackie in this Blue Bloods quote…
Jackie: What did you say to him in there?...

Bridget Moynahan’s character is not going to like the sharp attorney she’ll have to face in court during this season of CBS’ Blue Bloods.
That’s because the charismatic lawyer that Erin goes toe-to-toe with is her ex-husband Jack Boyle!
EW has learned exclusively that Peter Hermann will play Erin’s ex in the third episode of the CBS drama, which returns Sept. 28. Long absent from New York, Jack’s surprise return stirs up unresolved issues for Erin, their daughter Nicky (Sami Gayle) and the rest of the Reagan family.
Hermann last appeared on CBS as Harrison Curtis on A Gifted Man.
