John Bridges was born on 24 October 1888 in Tallasee, Alabama, USA. He was an actor, known for Wild Horse Stampede (1943), Wild West (1946) and Harmony Trail (1944). He died on 11 July 1973 in San Bernardino County, California, USA.

Was a Methodist minister in Alabama before entering the film industry. After he retired he moved to 29 Palms, CA, and became the assistant pastor of the Palms Baptist Church.
