Published in the Daily Express October 25 1972 to February 28th 1973
At a lavish party thrown for the European elite on the Medditerraean island of Corsica, newspaper reporter Dolly Hamnet follows her nose by mingling amongst the guests, inquiring about the mysterious League of Vampires, a group or sect very few people know much about save for its staunch exclusivity. Dolly’s curiosity warns a shadowy, muscular man also attending the party. As it turns out, James Bond was not far away either, but before the secret agent can extract much useful information out of Dolly back at her hotel room, the aforementioned muscular brute, adorned in Dracula-like attire, knocks Bond out cold and kills Dolly by biting into her neck! Clearly, this League of Vampires is willing to engage in any acts to protect its secrecy and agenda. When...

Grange Hill. The only school kids ever seemed to be interested in. Us included…
At your school, did anyone die in the swimming pool? Did you have to contend with vicious bullies (and we’re talking about the teachers!)? Did everyone have London accents coarse enough to strip the paint off the classroom doors? Yes? Flippin’ ’eck, you must have gone to Grange Hill!
If you grew up in the 1980s but don’t have a fondness for Grange Hill, there’s probably only one explanation: you were banned from watching it. Yep, for those of us who could get away with it, this rites-of-passage drama series about the pupils of a north-London comprehensive was must-see television, but by parents and teachers it was generally despised. It all started in 1978, and continues to this day (just about), but its golden age was undoubtedly the 1980s.

Hey, can you think of a better way to turn 22 years old? Rated R singer Rihanna celebrated her big day in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Saturday, accompanied by her boyfriend Matt Kemp, a few close friends and, oh yeah, a tiny stripper who gave Ri-Ri a lap dance. Well, as much as a lap dance as a 3' 9" dancer is capable of providing. Bonus points: The wee peeler in question is none other than porn star Bridget Powers, who often goes by the stage name Bridget the Midget and whose esteemed filmography includes such fare as Hot Bods and Tail Pipe...
