Kalua Lauber

Born Kalua Louise Brown in New Orleans, Louisiana, the young comedienne
longed for stardom even as a child. She was a comedienne during her
college years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She moved to Atlanta to
perform at the then popular "Punchline" comedy club. She moved to Los
Angeles in the early 90s and pursued comedy. Kalua has been in two
short films, "Graham's Diner" and most recently, "The Sunday Morning
Stripper". She is married to Celso Lauber and has no children. She is
currently an English teacher and novelist.
