After what seems like forever, "Black Adam" is hitting theaters this weekend. It's the conclusion of a journey that goes back a long time, with the project kicking around the halls of Warner Bros. in some way, shape, or form for well over a decade. More to the point, Dwayne Johnson, back when he was pretty much only known to the general public as The Rock, has been attached to the role for ages. In most cases, when someone is attached to a part for over a decade, the project is destined to fall apart.
