Roberta Cenedese was born in Vancouver, BC Canada. She trained and competed locally and internationally in freediving (past Team Canada member), marathon length open water swimming, and ice swimming (6th Canadian and 385 person world wide who officially completed an Ice Mile as certified by IISA). She also worked as a professional scuba diver in Vancouver and Puerto Rico. From 1994 to 2013 Roberta worked as a production coordinator in the Film & TV industry.
She became a professional freediving Instrucor, coach, and trainer in 2015. From 2017 Roberta trains and supports actors and stunt performers working in water as a breath hold and cold water specialist, and as a safety diver.
