- A Jazz upbringing influenced Carolyn's musical interests via dance & song and her storytelling & writing instincts. From birth, Carolyn's worldview included observing her father in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, on tour with Maynard Ferguson, family dinners & holidays with Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole, and many others like Etta James, up close and personal. Carolyn also observed her father while he produced albums, composed music, co-wrote songs, and arranged songbooks and various albums for artists such as Miss Peggy Lee. (Her father was the ghostwriter for Peggy Lee's Memoir, her Musical Director, and co-wrote music together under Boudoir Productions.)
Among other producers, after Jay read Carolyn's script Valency, Jay Bernstein asked Carolyn to write his "Jay Bernstein" biography. Still, there was always a catch-22 with Jay, he didn't just want to be her manager and Carolyn did not want to marry him. Instead, she wrote her screenplay and M.A.'s thesis material, "Welcome to Los Angeles," which was included in the textbook 'The Fame Game' (published by Bell & Howell) & that she used to teach her classes at the Learning Tree University. - Carolyn Chiodini, spent many school vacations and holidays at Caesar's Palace in LV with her family. Her Dad, John Chiodini was on various tours with Ms. Natalie Cole. Still is "Unforgetable" Music.

Her talents have been recognized by industry leaders, as she has been selected as a grantee by both Sony Entertainment and the Disney Music Center, as well as the Actor's Fund of America. Furthermore, Carolyn gained valuable experience through internships and externships in LAUSD schools.
- During Carolyn's tenure on faculty at Learning Tree University's Corinthian Colleges Inc. Department of Arts and Entertainment Studies, she led the charge in classes and workshops for filmmaking for festivals, as well as delving into the exciting world of storytelling, short stories, and various creative writing courses. Some of these classes were crafted by her imagination, while others received a fresh spin under her guidance; all of them were a great time.
