- Played the role of Eddie in the stage version of Neil Simon's classic comedy "The Sunshine Boys", and received a good review for his role in the Entertainment Section of the newspaper.
- While preparing for the role of Eddie in The Sunshine Boys, Nathan refused to watch the original film, as to avoid copying the film version. Nathan wanted his part to be natural and not just an imitation.
- Nathan drew inspiration for his character Eddie in The Sunshine Boys, on his own experience as a personal assistant and from the character of Jack, from the TV series "Will & Grace" for his over-the-top persona in the series. Each day Nathan had to perform, he would ready himself by watching episodes of "Will & Grace" to put himself in the frame of mind for Eddie.
- Before filming "The Life And Death of Anna Nicole" for the E! Network, Nathan, who suffers from anxiety, had to calm himself with meditation, soft music and some red wine before going on camera. His eyes were still puffy from having cried minutes before shooting began.
