He taught acting classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, at the
Central School of Cinematography in Rome, and at the California State Northridge University.
He was an artistic director for The Michael Chekhov Studio in Los Angeles, CA, and was working on a play at the time of his death.
He died of complications following a stroke he suffered on October 22, 2005, in a North Hollywood nursing home.
