- Frederick Ko Vert was born on June 10, 1901 in Pennsylvania, USA. He was an actor and costume designer, known for The Queen of Sheba (1921), I Am Guilty (1921) and The First Night (1927). He died on May 31, 1949 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

- After his movie days, he opened a photography studio and became "Kovert of Hollywood," a pioneer in male physique photography. One of his proteges was Robert Miser, the founder of the Athletic Model Guild. According to some sources, Ko Vert did not operate the camera himself, but allowed or hired other photographers to do the work for him.
