- Åke Dahlqvist was born on January 11, 1901 in Hallsberg, Örebro län, Sweden. He was a cinematographer and actor, known for Ratataa eller The Staffan Stolle Story (1956), En stilla flirt (1934) and On the Sunny Side (1936). He died on June 19, 1991 in Skanör, Skåne län, Sweden.
- Swedish cinematographer. Began as cameraman in 1923, as assistant to Julius Jaenzon. Later associated with the films of Gustav Molander. His work in the 1930's furthered the career of Ingrid Bergman. He also shot the screen test that took Greta Garbo to Hollywood.
