Pedro Pascal may be currently commanding the spotlight, but he's actually been acting in supporting or small roles for a very long time - and he even appeared briefly in one particularly beloved '90s series: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." On the show, Pascal played a character named Edward who befriended Sarah Michelle Gellar's Buffy on her first day of college. Though his character was quickly killed off, it seems like he and Gellar made good impressions on each other on set. On Feb. 28, Gellar posted a photo on Instagram of herself and Pascal from his appearance, along with the caption "When #Mother met #Father."
While on the red carpet at the premiere of Disney+'s "The Mandalorian" season three, a reporter showed Pascal Gellar's post, and Pascal seemed thrilled, telling Entertainment Tonight that he remembers "absolutely everything" about his time on "Buffy.

Now that he’s 31 and sober, Tyler Posey looks at his “Teen Wolf” role through a new lens.
Speaking with Variety at the premiere of Paramount+’s “Teen Wolf: The Movie,” the actor reflected on the nearly five-year journey of self-discovery and sobriety that led him to his return as Scott McCall.
Just two years ago, Posey opened up about his sobriety on the “Just for Variety” podcast, telling host Marc Malkin about his struggles with substance abuse and how he’d given up drugs and alcohol during the pandemic but wasn’t “completely sober anymore.”
Yet as he approached the long-awaited opportunity to reunite with the “Teen Wolf” franchise and his former castmates, he revealed on Wednesday night’s red carpet at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles that he is now clean and sober once again.

When Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis announced that he would be developing Wolf Pack, some naturally assumed that the new werewolf series would have some connection to his previous show, but that’s not the case.
“I know that everybody gets confused by it, but I always say, ‘Nobody thinks Twilight is in the same universe as Interview With The Vampire,’” Jeff Davis told SFX Magazine. “There can be two werewolf shows that exist in separate spaces. It’s funny because one of the things we did was consciously try and do things differently with Wolf Pack.” As for how Wolf Pack will be different from Teen Wolf, Jeff Davis said that he wanted “to do something more adult, a little bit extreme in places. Not necessarily darker, but a little more sophisticated in terms of themes. Teen Wolf was very comic book. It had a real sense of humor…...

Jeff Davis, mastermind of MTV’s Teen Wolf,is bringing another werewolf story to the small screen (and we’re not even talking about the upcoming Teen Wolf: The Movie). The producer is developing a new Paramount+ show titled Wolf Pack, a new clip of which debuted at the Ccxp convention in São Paulo, Brazil on Sunday, December 4, with star Rodrigo Santoro on hand to deliver the goods. Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack “follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature and drives it to attack a highway traffic jam beneath the burning hills,” Paramount+ explains. “Wounded in the chaos, the boy and girl are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two other teenagers who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises,...

Wolf Pack comes to Paramount+ in the new year, bringing Sarah Michelle Gellar back to the world of the supernatural. While Wolf Pack is created by the man behind Teen Wolf, Jeff Davis, and both focus on teen werewolves, the stories aren’t connected. Davis, Gellar, and the rest of the cast explained how Wolf Pack is a whole new bag to Andrea Towers in TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine’s studio at New York Comic Con 2022. For starters, Wolf Pack‘s streaming platform allows for one big thing broadcast TV didn’t: swearing. Davis is thankful for this merciful change, though Gellar grieves the fact that she still can’t (let Buffy swear!). “Tonally, it’s a very different show than Teen Wolf,” Davis adds. “It’s a little more adult; it’s a little more real.” Wolf Pack is an adaptation of Edo Van Belkom’s books,...

Eleven years ago, Jeff Davis took the basic concept of the 1985 comedy film Teen Wolf (watch our Awfully Good video on that movie Here) and turned it into a supernatural teen drama series for MTV. The show ran for six seasons, wrapping up in 2017. Five years later, much of the show’s cast has been brought back together for the Teen Wolf franchise’s return to the world of feature films, a project appropriately titled Teen Wolf: The Movie. The new movie is going to be released through the Paramount+ streaming service on January 26th, and today they unveiled a poster for it. You can take a look at the poster at the bottom of this article.
Directed by Russell Mulcahy from a script written by Jeff Davis, Teen Wolf: The Movie has the following synopsis:

Well, hot damn, y'all: Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to the horror genre on TV, and now there's a trailer here to prove it. You may have heard about "Wolf Pack," the upcoming spin-off of "Teen Wolf". However, with all the news coming out of San Diego Comic-Con this summer, it would be easy for a tidbit like Gellar's involvement in "Wolf Pack" to slip through the cracks. Fortunately, there's another convention happening this week, New York Comic Con, which has brought the first teaser trailer for "Wolf Pack."
"Wolf Pack" is based on the YA book series of the same name by Edo van Belkom, which began in 2004. Other books in the series include "Lone Wolf," "Cry Wolf," and "Wolf Man." The show, which is coming to Paramount+ in early 2023, stars Armani Jackson and Bella Shepard as Everett and Blake, two teens who witness the awakening of a werewolf...

It was quite the Teen Wolf cast reunion at the 2022 New York Comic Con on October 7th. Series creator Jeff Davis joined his returning Teen Wolf stars Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry, and Khylin Rhambo for a packed Teen Wolf: The Movie panel at Javits Center. Teen Wolf newcomers Vince Mattis and Amy Workman also took the stage for the half-hour panel.
Writer/executive producer Jeff Davis kicked off the panel discussing the inspiration for Teen Wolf: The Movie. “One thought was could we bring Crystal Reed back? I always said if we were going to do a movie, we would have to bring Crystal Reed back. And so the idea started percolating and I said to Crystal over text – actually on Instagram it was – and I said, ‘Are you ready to pick up the bow and arrow again?’ And we talked and there was magic still there.

Sarah Michelle Gellar stars in “Wolf Pack” as arson Investigator Kristin Ramsey, “a highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss, who is brought in by authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started a massive wildfire which may have also led to the reawakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar is diving back into a teen horror flick for Paramount+’s series “Wolf Pack” as a star and executive producer. So, what exactly lured her back into the genre that launched her career?
“It was just sort of like all of the stars aligning,” the actress said during Wednesday’s Television Critics Association panel. “I actually honestly at first had no intention of saying yes. I read the script, and it was the first time where my interest was so piqued and I wasn’t sure where it was going.”
After leading “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” for seven seasons and starring in films such as “Cruel Intentions,” Gellar said she’s received more horror film and TV pitches than she can even count. But there was something about the script for “Wolf Pack” that reminded her of her roots.

Universal TV is developing a 'reimagining' of the 1969 Rod Sterling horror/supernatural anthology TV series "Night Gallery", from Jeff Davis ("Teen Wolf"):
"...the new series will explore the dangers of social media and modern nightmares in the digital age..."
The original "Night Gallery" aired 1969-1973, featuring stories of horror and the macabre, with Rod Serling of "Twilight Zone" fame as both on-air host and major contributor of scripts.
Serling appeared in an art gallery setting and introduced the macabre tales that made up each episode by unveiling paintings that depicted the stories. His intro usually was:
"Each is a collector's item in its own way—not because of any special artistic quality, but because each captures on a canvas, suspended in time and space, a frozen moment of a nightmare."
The series was introduced with a pilot airing November 8, 1969, featuring the TV directorial debut of Steven Spielberg, starring Joan Crawford...

The Teen Wolf team is already howling for more. Teen Wolf: The Movie doesn't even premiere on Paramount+ until later this year, but that hasn't stopped the cast and creator from fantasizing about more blood-thirsty drama in the future. While discussing their workout regimes for the new movie with E!'s The Rundown at Comic-Con 2022 on July 21, Tyler Posey admitted that he doesn't quite have the same motivation as his co-star Tyler Hoechlin. Hoechlin, as most fans know, also currently plays Superman on The CW's Superman & Lois, so he's pretty used to being in great shape. However, it was a comment from Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis that really caught our ear....
