With five finalists, including Prince Poppycock, already in the top 10, it was up to four singers, two magicians, two dance acts, a pianist, a stunt biker, and Fighting Gravity to vie for the final five spots. "It was the best show we've had on America's Got Talent, as far as I'm concerned," says judge Piers Morgan. "I have never seen so many standing ovations, so much talent, so much variety." And, he adds, "in Jackie Evancho, one of the biggest stars we're ever going to find." Once again, 10-year-old opera singer from Pittsburgh moved the audience with her rendition of "Time to Say Goodbye.

The day has finally come, PopWatchers. I didn’t think we were going to make it, but we’ve reached the semifinals of America’s Got Talent!
The final four acts to advance were acrobats Michael Lipari & Ashleigh Dejon, magician Michael Grasso, tiny dancers Anna & Patryk, and Howard Stern’s favorite act, kite flyer Connor Doran, whose poetic Tuesday night performance left Howie misty-eyed with pride. Did America (and the judges) get it right with these four Wild Card choices? Did Connor Doran bring tears to your eyes too?
Here’s the complete list of the Top 24 acts:

Acrobats Michael Lipari and Ashleigh Dejon were back for Wild Card round of America’s Got Talent last night. The duo gave a fiery, intense performance to Rihanna’s “Rude Boy,” that also gave the audience and the judges a huge scare (those looks on Howie and Sharon’s faces!). Check it out below (performance begins at 1:40):
The studio fell silent, thinking that the unthinkable had suddenly happened, when — just kidding! — Michael and Ashleigh emerged from the depths of the stage for part two of their routine. Piers thought the stunt transformed the aerial act from “boring” to “magical.

A sexy aerial-acrobatics duo "got our blood flowing" (said Howie Mandel) on 'America's Got Talent' (Tue., 9Pm Et on NBC). To the tune of Rihanna's 'Rude Boy' and dressed in skimpy leather, Ashleigh Dejon gyrated above the stage, hanging off of Michael Lipari's arms and legs.
In the middle of the routine, she plunged to the ground and let out a scream. Everyone reacted with shocked silence; Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne stood up, wide-eyed with fear.
But it was all part of their act. Mandel later said, "It was dangerous, it was edgy, it was fun to watch, it was sexy." Osbourne called the routine "seductive." The mid-air magic trick made Piers Morgan think "we'd just had our first fatality." Thankfully, no.
