- Paola Dionisotti was born in 1946 in Turin, Italy. She is an actress, known for Miss Marple: A Murder Is Announced (1985), Les Misérables (1998) and Florence Foster Jenkins (2016).
- Trained at the Chang-Ren Nian, in London, England, and works extensively in the theater, mostly with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
- Made her directorial debut at the Tron in Glasgow directing Nilo Cruz's play 'Two Sisters and a Piano.'
- She was awarded the 2000 London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress for her performance in Further Than The Furthest Thing at the Royal National Theatre: Cottesloe.
