- Pennie DuPont has cast such films as Roxanne, the Karate Kid, Peggy Sue Got Married, the Seventh Sign, and Arizona Dream. She also did the west coast casting on Star 80 for director Bob Fosse, and Annie for John Huston. At the Burbank Studios she worked for Columbia and Tri Star until returning to New York. After graduating from the Yale Drama School, Pennie worked in theater on New York both on and off Broadway. She co-hosted, with John Newcomb, the television show, The Good Life, syndicated in the US and Australia. As a writer she has sold several screenplays, including the award winning Torn Between Two Fathers, an ABC after school special.
