Green-eyed, auburn-haired Diana Napier had her stage training in Paris.
After some stage experience and small parts, she obtained her first important screen role in Wedding Rehearsal (1932).
Signed for Alexander Korda's London Films in 1934 for £20 a week. Korda apparently selected her, because she fitted his screen stereotype of a 'high class bitch'.
She established an artists studio which became the design company 'Diana Display Ltd.' (subsequently 'DNT Associates') based in Parsons Green, Fulham, London.
