Bob Ellsworth(1895-1968)

Composer, author, songwriter ("Somebody Else Is Taking My Place"), and
publisher, educated at the Boston Conservatory. After World War I
military service, he wrote special material for radio and managed the
offices of two New York music publishers, then became a publisher
himself. He was named an honorary citizen of Wheeling, West Virginia.
Joining ASCAP in 1942, his other popular-song compositions include "We
Will Meet at the End of the Trail", "I Want Them All to Know", "Did I
Make a Mistake in You?", "Carmelita", "Where I First Whispered
Sweetheart to You", "Saying Adieu", "It Won't Be Long Till You Belong
to Me", "Keep Lookin' Around for the Sunshine", "Old New Hampshire
Moon", "Back to Wheeling, West Va.", "Blue Eyes", and "The Beantown
Polka".
