- Page was introduced to yoga by his ex-wife, Kimberly Page. Page admitted that he was reluctant to try it at first, but not only found that he liked it, it began to help his body heal from the numerous old injuries he had sustained during his wrestling years. He eventually developed a program called "Yoga for Regular Guys", which he eventually renamed "DDP Yoga".
- In the early days of his WCW career, he once traveled wtih Mick Foley and Steve Austin. Because he was so easy to rile up on a trip, Foley and Austin pulled a number of stunts, trying to see how long it would take him to crack.

- When Bischoff and Hulk Hogan invaded the stage on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1992), it set up a Bischoff and Hogan vs. Page and Jay Leno match at Road Wild, which was won by the Page & Leno combo, when Leno pinned Bischoff.

This resulted in Page taking a two-year hiatus from professional wrestling. Nevertheless, he returned to the ring during a brief stint with upcoming wrestling promotion TNA in 2004 but would retire permanently in June 2005.
