A trailer for Tommy Cooper: Not Like That, Like This has been released.
The promo features David Threlfall as the comedian and magician in the one-off Simon Nye-penned ITV drama, and also stars New Tricks actress Amanda Redman and Peaky Blinders' Helen McCrory.
Not Like That, Like This focuses on Cooper's 17-year relationship with his assistant Mary Kay (McCrory) on the road, while his wife Gwen (Redman), nicknamed Dove, looked after their children.
Struggling to choose which of the two women he wanted to be with, he suffered a heart attack live on air in 1984 and passed away.
The two-hour film is produced by Lucy Dyke and directed by Benjamin Caron.
Filming began in London last summer, with producer, magician and Always Leave Them Laughing Cooper biographer John Fisher acting as consultant.

Shameless star David Threlfall will play Tommy Cooper in a single ITV drama based on the comedian's life.
The two-hour film is a Left Bank Pictures production written by Simon Nye (Men Behaving Badly) and will also star Amanda Redman as Cooper's wife Dove.
Left Bank Pictures' Andy Harries said: "Few comics have had such a lasting influence on UK culture as Tommy Cooper.
"The man was a comedy giant who spent his final years juggling his hugely successful public persona with a private passion for two women. Just like that."
ITV's director of drama commissioning Steve November added: "Tommy Cooper was an ITV legend and so it feels very fitting to be telling his story on ITV.
"Left Bank have brought together wonderful talent in Simon Nye, David Threlfall and Amanda Redman to tell the story."
The film will focus on Cooper's 17-year affair with his...

"In all the shows I've made, I've always tried to make the opening titles exciting." - Gerry Anderson.
Has there ever been a more barnstorming title sequence than Stingray's?
When I told people I was going to do a retrospective on the show, they practically recited it verbatim, musical cue dialogue, or sang 'Mariiiiiiiinaaa, aqua Mariiiiiiiinaaa' at me (I felt so beautiful). The title sequences are fantastic, distinctive and memorable.
The tribal drums (a deliriously urgent cacophony); the crash-zoom on Commander Shaw's ambiguous growl; if these weren’t exciting enough they are followed by Explosions! Planes! An entire city becoming subterranean! A leaping submarine! A big...fish...thing, also leaping! Everything is being thrown at the screen in an attempt to get the viewer to sit down and watch for half an hour. It succeeds at the latter,...

Is Australia the most conservative country in the world right now? Luke Buckmaster of The Age newspaper reports that the illegal screening of Bruce Labruce’s gay horror movie L.A. Zombie at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival went off without any arrests. But Buckmaster was so thoroughly disgusted by the movie, he’s practically advocating for the censorship of it. What the hell did he think he was going to go see? Or maybe England is gunning for the Most Conservative Country Award. Electric Sheep reports on Srdjan Spasojevic’s controversial A Serbian Movie being pulled from FrightFest after British censors demanded almost four minutes of edits. While the film has, and will, screen freely here in the U.S. at festivals, who knows what the MPAA would say if the film were released here theatrically? The Australian Film Reviews...

Seacrest charges out? For the most part. Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. pleaded no contest today to a felony stalking count stemming from his security-guard-be-damned desire for proximity to our own Ryan Seacrest last year. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge John Fisher ordered the 25-year-old former Army reservist to undergo a 90-day psychiatric evaluation in prison. After completing the assessment, Uzomah is due back in court for formal sentencing June 14. As it is, the no contest plea spares Uzomah from facing two additional misdemeanor counts of attempted disobeying a court order as a result of his obsessive, restraining-order-ignoring behavior last fall. The additional charges will be formally dismissed at...
