Paramount Network today announced that Yellowstone, TV’s #1 show, has started production.
Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, the megahit series is currently filming in Montana.
We got first wind of this exciting news when we saw some casting notices for actors in the area, but now, shooting is underway.
Halleluja.
As previously announced, the series is slated to return in November.
Given the status of the series, which was originally slated for a sixth and seventh season before behind-the-scenes drama spiraled out of control, we don't really know what to expect at this point.
We do know that Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States.
Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation,...

It’s the beginning of the end for “Yellowstone,” as production has now begun on the final episodes of the megahit series.
The show is once again shooting in Montana on the second half of its fifth season. The first half, which consisted of eight episodes, originally aired between November 2022 and January 2023. The second and final installment, which will consist of six episodes, is slated to debut on Paramount Network in November.
As was previously reported, production on the final episodes of the series was delayed in 2023 due to the dual writers’ and actors’ strikes that shut down most of Hollywood. It was also previously reported that “Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner would be exiting the series in Season 5, reportedly over his desire to focus on the epic Western feature “Horizon,” which would have seriously impacted his availability to film “Yellowstone.” The first part of the film is scheduled to be...

Jeremy Renner looks like he hasn’t lost a step in the first full official trailer for the long-awaited third season of Mayor of Kingstown.
Below, Renner is back in business as a Michigan crime boss in the Paramount+ series, which is from co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon.
The season marks Renner’s acting comeback following his near-fatal 2023 New Year’s Day snowplow accident. Renner returned to set one year after he was critically injured after being run over by a 14,300-pound snowcat at his home in Reno, Nevada. He had broken 38 bones and his rib cage was rebuilt with metal, along with metal plates in his face to support his eye socket and titanium rods in one of his legs.
But you wouldn’t know it from the new footage.

The third season of the Taylor Sheridan Paramount+ series marks Renner’s acting comeback following his near-fatal 2023 New Year’s Day snowplow accident.
When marking being back on set after months of intense recovery, the series star had said he was nervous. “Hope this works out that I can Actually pull this off for our production and more importantly the fans,” he wrote on Instagram.

Jeremy Renner is back in action on the third season of Mayor of Kingstown, he shared on social media on Wednesday. The moment is proving nerve-racking for the action star a year after a snowplow accident that nearly claimed his life.
From Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the original series is currently filming in Pittsburgh and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions exclusively for Paramount+.
“Day one on set … nervous today,” he captioned a photo of himself in a suit. “Hope this works out that I can Actually pull this off for our production and more importantly the fans.”

Jeremy Renner and the cast of Mayor of Kingstown are gearing up for their return to production on Season 3 of the Paramount+ drama.
On Thursday, Renner reshared a post from co-star Emma Laird on his Instagram story, indicating that the pair would be reunited right after the new year.
The post featured a photo on Laird and Renner, seemingly on set, with the text: “It’s happening” and “Back with my favorite guy next week.”
Renner will be returning to Mayor Of Kingstown following an extensive recovery process after he was critically injured in a January 1 snowplow accident in which he broke more than 30 bones. Season 2 of the series debuted two weeks later, on Jan. 15, and wrapped its run March 19.
See the photo below.
Deadline previously reported that Mayor of Kingstown would begin production on Season 3 in January following the end of the actors strike in November, along with series including Stranger Things,...

Exclusive: The McLusky Family will be down another member next season, I hear. According to sources, Dianne Wiest will not be returning to Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ drama series for its upcoming third season.
There has been chatter about Wiest’s potential departure for months; rumors intensified this week as scripts for season 3 — written before the writers strike and on hold for the duration — are now being finalized with the strike ending. Her exit is said to be story-driven.
Teased by series star/executive producer Jeremy Renner in late May, Mayor of Kingstown was officially renewed for a third season earlier this month. A rep for MTV Entertainment Studios, which produces the series, declined comment.

Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner is returning for a third season of Mayor of Kingstown, with Paramount+ officially renewing the gritty drama for season three. The streaming service’s announcement didn’t include a season three synopsis, cast details, or a targeted premiere date. Most productions are currently on hold as writers and actors battle the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) for better pay and restrictions on the use of AI.
Mayor of Kingstown was created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) and Hugh Dillon, with Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, and Regina Corrado executive producing. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios produce the series.

Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ crime thriller Mayor of Kingstown has been renewed for Season 3, TVLine has confirmed.
Jeremy Renner, who suffered 30 broken bones in a near-fatal snowplow accident in January, is set to return as Mike McLusky, a former inmate whose family works as mediators between the street gangs, prisoners, guards and cops in the fictional town of Kingstown, Mich. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

Jeremy Renner is returning for duty to Paramount+.
The actor, who suffered 30 broken bones in a New Year’s Day snowplow accident, is set to return to his starring role in the streamer’s Taylor Sheridan drama Mayor of Kingstown. The series, which wrapped its second season in March, has now officially been renewed for a third season on the Paramount Global-backed platform. Sources say the series had been quietly picked up months ago but the streamer delayed a formal announcement for the crime drama’s return while Renner recovered from his injuries.
Renner shared on social media in May that he was continuing to make progress on his recovery and had begun lightly jogging on a treadmill for the first time since he was hospitalized. A return date for season three has not yet been determined given Renner’s recovery as well as the ongoing labor disputes involving...
