In Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, a fair amount is made of Klaus Fuchs, the German theoretical physicist who passed secrets from Los Alamos to the Soviet Union. But nowhere in this substantive blockbuster do we hear about Theodore Hall. A wunderkind physicist from Far Rockaway, New York City, recruited to the Manhattan Project as an 18-year-old Harvard senior, Hall, too, shared atomic secrets with the Soviets, for what he later claimed were purely moral reasons: He thought the possibility of the U.S. — or any country — having a monopoly on...

Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" begins with two on-screen titles showing the definitions between fission and fusion. For the layman or average moviegoer, the definitions serve as an explanation about the differences between two ways of achieving nuclear power. They also layout the ways in which the entire film is going to be structured, split in two by color and black-and-white sequences that divide Nolan's epic biography into Oppenheimer's subjective point-of-view and the objective forces swirling around him. The sequences in color paint Oppenheimer as somewhat of a heroic figure that helped this nation win World War II with the creation of the atomic bomb; the black-and-white sections show the famed scientist as a victim of government bureaucracy bullied by a system that no longer needs him.

The Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War trailer not only demonstrated the fascinating ideas of Kgb defector and noted journalist Yuri Bezmenov, but also briefly referenced the name “Perseus” as one of the presumed key players in the game’s story.
Of course, that trailer no doubt has many of you asking a very simple question: “Who is Perseus?”
The question may be simple, but the answer is anything but. The name Perseus is one of the most mysterious remnants of the Cold War era (and beyond) as well as a favorite among among conspiracy theorists who consider Perseus to be a potentially major missing piece of a grand puzzle.
We’ll try to fill in a few of those pieces ourselves as we look at the meaning of the name Perseus, their role in the Cold War, and even their possible upcoming role in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.

America once used the words “treason” and “traitors” only in cases of actual betrayal of our nation’s most vital secrets or interests. They were profound words, deep with meaning, grim in import, carrying with them the knowledge that the penalty for treason was death.
Be honest: The words “traitor” and “treason” don’t have the sting they once had; they’ve been devalued from mis- and over-use by this president. For Donald Trump, any opposition, either personal, ideological, or political is treason. Anyone who stands in his path betrays the Great Leader.
