‘The Floor’ is a game show with about 81 candidates and each of these players has a topic assigned for the recordings if that’s not enough, each of these players is subsequently given their subject to be represented by a box on a rather interactive LED floor.
At the beginning of the show, we can expect to see a computer randomly choosing players ‘on the floor’ and the said candidate is then given topics that appear.
Rob Lowe is taking the show as host and producer, and with his spectacular skills, ‘The Floor’ turns out to be quite a catch as contestants from across the globe stand to compete for a whopping $250,000 prize. The only question that lies is, who will conquer The Floor when it debuts midseason?

Fox has ordered Stars on Mars, a space-themed celebrity competition series fronted by the legendary William Shatner.
The unscripted show, from Fremantle-owned Eureka Productions, will see celebrities leave behind their pampered earth-bound lives for life in a space station that simulates the conditions on Mars. According to the producers, the stars will live, eat and sleep under these otherworldly conditions but also have to make alliances, strategize and indulge in some skulduggery in order to be the last “celebronaut” standing.
Star Trek icon Shatner, who made a real-life trip to space in October 2021 with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, isn’t listed as host of Stars on Mars, but is on board to lead Mission Control. Shatner will offer support to the celebrities and no doubt words of wisdom as they attempt to complete missions and avoid the weekly elimination votes.
“Good news for our celebronauts from Mission Control,” Shatner said in a statement.

The Jennifer Nettles-hosted series is based on a British format developed by American Idol producer Fremantle and a U.S. adaptation previously aired on The CW in 2008. It follows a group of farmers that are presented with women from the city and they must choose one to be their spouse.
The farmers will take their group of daters to their farm and show them what it is really like to live as ranchers do—from tending to the homestead to feeding cattle and baling hay. Based on the ’70s and ’80s scripted dramedy “The Love Boat,” “The Real Love Boat” puts singles on a luxury cruise through the Mediterranean to look for love amongst destination dates, challenges and surprise new singles. As in the original series, the captain and cruise director play pivotal roles in matchmaking. After almost a month at sea, only one couple will win and take home a cash prize plus another trip via Princess Cruises.
According to Nielsen’s most current data stream, which includes a week’s worth of delayed viewing where available, “The Real Love Boat” is averaging 2.1 million viewers, putting it behind all other broadcast unscripted programming...

The 2022-23 TV season has its first casualty.
CBS’ dating show The Real Love Boat has been pulled from the broadcast network after four episodes. It will finish out its season on Paramount+.
The move comes after the show, an unscripted spin on the 1970s-’80s romance/comedy anthology, pulled in soft ratings numbers for its first four episodes. The Real Love Boat is CBS’ least watched primetime series of the fall, averaging a little under 1.9 million same-day viewers and a slim 0.24 rating in the key ad demographic of adults 18-49. Delayed viewing hasn’t helped much: After a week of DVR and on-demand viewing (as measured by Nielsen), the first two episodes rose to just 2.59 million viewers and a 0.3 among adults 18-49.
Paramount+ also streams the four episodes that aired on CBS, as well as the original scripted series.

Amazon Prime Video wants to be a global powerhouse in reality TV, and it’s relying on the international language of sports to grow that business.
Following the return of the Amazon NFL series “All or Nothing” (which this year chronicles a season inside the Los Angeles Rams organization), the streaming service has ordered a similar show that follows New Zealand’s national rugby team.
The series will focus on the “All Blacks,” which is known as having the best winning record of any team sport in history (84% wins over the last 130 years).
Reality vet Eden Gaha, whose credits include “Survivor,” “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Masterchef,” will executive produce the series. Like “All or Nothing,” the All Blacks series will train cameras on the rugby club during its 2017-2018 season. That included a recent match against the British and Irish Lions (which takes place once every 16 years) and the annual Rugby Championship in August.
