- Survived breast cancer.
- Two children with Michel Berger: daughter, Pauline (November 14, 1978 - December 18, 1997), and son, Raphaël (April 2, 1981 - ). Tragically, France lost both her husband and her daughter in the 1990s. Michel died of a heart attack in 1992, at age 44, and Pauline died of cystic fibrosis in 1997, at age 19.

- Her maternal uncle is Jacques Berthier (1923-1994) who is a composer and organist. Both of her brothers twins Patrice and Philippe are also in show business.
- Won the Gran premio Eurovisione della canzone 1965 (1965) for Luxembourg with the song "Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son" which was written by Serge Gainsbourg (music and lyrics).
