Revered by troubled dreamers the world over not only for his politics but also for the famed austerity of his personal life, Jose Mujica, the former president of Uruguay, for many people seems to speak an inspirational new political language. The words of the elderly Mujica -- a humble, quietly-spoken figure who looks like a retired farm laborer rather than a retired politico -- structure Guillermo Garcia Lopez’s Fragile Balance, a clear-sighted first documentary about the socio-economic mess we’re making of our world, but it also comes with suggestions from Mujica about how to change it for the better.

Having been released in 2013 in its home country of Venezuela, supernatural thriller La Casa del Fin del Los Tiempos (aka 'The House at The End of Time') has already seen major success there as being the highest grossing thriller that they've had.
Now that it's overseas and on most VOD platforms, La Casa seems to be marketed as a horror film, which it really isn't, but the film's ability to make you think you're going one way until it takes a sharp left into crazytown is what makes this film outstanding.
After serving 30 years in prison for the alleged murder of her husband, Juan Jose (Gonzalo Cubero) and son, Leopoldo (Rosmel Bustamante), Dulce (Ruddy Rodriguez) is released to spend the rest of her sentence in her home where these supposed crimes took place. Winning Best Director and Best Film at the 2014 ScreamFest Film Festival, Alejandro Hidalgo’s directorial debut The House at the End of Time will continue to enjoy the distinction of being one of the only Venezuelan horror films currently in existence. Mixing haunted house spooks with sci-fi concepts, Hidalgo’s feature is reminiscent of Nacho Vigalondo’s Timecrimes, but rather than attempting to logically engage with its time warping tactics, the film largely ignores these for supernatural discourse. A bit too rough around the edges in too many regards to attract attention beyond being something of a novelty, Hidalgo shows promise with the level of ambience and laudable look of the film.
Awakening in a daze, a deep gash in her face, Dulce (Roddy Rodriguez) finds her husband murdered and her elder son disappear before her very eyes into the bowels of her home. Accused of the crime, Dulce is sentenced to the maximum penalty.

Wow for some reason until now I never thought about that this was the guy from Half Baked! I wonder if I get some memory slack because both it and Weeds is about weed (to some extent) but how could I not place Scarface? Anyways, long time fans of Showtime’s Weeds will certainly recall Guillermo Diaz, who returns to the show to reprise his roll as Guillermo Garcia Gómez. Currently one of the stars on ABC’s Scandal, Diaz is set to return to Weeds for a 3-episode arc starting with the landmark 100th episode (next week, on September 9th).
Debuting in the second season, we haven’t seen Guillermo since the season 6 finale, and according to showrunner Jenji Kohan he probably won’t be the only fan favorite returning to get their last face time in this, the final season of the show. About Gomez and his reentry into Nancy’s life,...

Weeds may be ending this season, but it won’t burn out without the return of a familiar face.
Scandal‘s Guillermo Diaz will reprise his role as Nancy’s foe Guillermo Garcia Gomez in the final three episodes of the Showtime drama, TVGuide.com reports.
Oddly enough, the two may actually learn to like each other by the series’ swan song. “We see that Guillermo ends up being a friend,” Diaz tells the site.

Creator Jenji Kohan has already revealed that a number of familiar faces will return for the Weeds series finale, and now she's identified at least one of them:
Guillermo Diaz.
Diaz, who now stars on ABC's Scandal, will reprise the role of drug dealer Guillermo Garcia Gómez, who viewers last saw getting arrested in Season 6
"I just think Nancy and Guillermo have circled each other for so many years," Kohan teased to TV Guide of the state of their relationship. "It's time that they just accept the fact that they're going to be in each other's lives."
Diaz will first appear again on the September 9 installment of Weeds, its 100th episode, which takes Nancy back to Agrestic. He will also play a role on the two-part September 16 finale.
