- Walter Goehr was born on May 28, 1903 in Berlin, Germany. He was a composer, known for Great Expectations (1946), Betrayed (1954) and A Matter of Life and Death (1946). He died on December 4, 1960 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, UK.
