Began his training in classical ballet, at the age of four, with Vancouver's Goh Ballet Academy. He studied Hip-Hop, jazz, and contemporary dance with Rachael Poirier at Danzmode. As a member of the Goh Company, Gray twice toured China and Japan.
As a member of The Banff Centre's Festival Dance company in 1999, 2000
and 2002, he performed in Brian Macdonald's Canto Indio, Benjamin
Hatcher's Covenant, and as a soloist in Crystal Pite's Quest and Brian
Macdonald's Requiem 9/11 Project.
His work in professional ballet includes "Aladdin" (he was the Genie) and "Peter Pan" (he had the title role).
In his off-stage life he is a dedicated vegan and animal-rights
activist, and enjoys skateboarding and snowboarding.
Performed as a member of the Calgary-based Alberta Ballet for five seasons. His roles included that of Mercutio in "Romeo & Juliet", along with the White Rabbit from "Alice in Wonderland".
