Theatre trivia, The 1400 seat Craig Theatre had a checkered history, opening in December, 1928 and closing just 3 years later. It was reopened in 1936, leased by the Federal Theatre Project (remaned The Adelphi Theatre) but closed again in 1939. After briefly being used as a religious venue (As The Radiant Theatre), it was most famously known as the TV studio home to the TV show, The Honeymooners, reverting as The Adelphi. It was demolished in 1970 when it was known as The George Abbott Theatre since 1957.
