And just like that, we have our first look at a superhero team-up on the final season of The Flash.
David Ramsey (who plays Diggle) took to social media to share a photo from behind the scenes of The Flash Season 9 Episode 9, airing later this year.
Specifically, the episode finds The Flash teaming up with Spartan, Green Arrow, and Kid Flash to fight a villain as the series prepares for its endgame.
News of Amell's return broke to much fanfare earlier this year.
The episode marks his first time back in the Arrowverse since the series finale of Arrow in 2020, the show that started this superhero universe.

Every year we talk about what a challenging year the real world had, and how great the comics were in response, so this year we thought we’d try something different. The comics were lousy! Just kidding, the comics were great, but it’s certainly something to pair this slate of comics with the tiny glimmers of hope the real world started to let peek through in 2022.
And this is a truly great slate of books, too. We’ve got standard superhero fare, which seems to get bigger, weirder, and better every year. We’ve got the deeply personal, slice of life books full of self reflection and quiet moments, done in the brilliant way only the finest cartoonists can do. We’ve got high energy books that are the product of a singular vision, that could only be made by the right person telling the perfect story for them...

Dark Crisis as an event has been a bit hit and miss, both the main series and the various spin-offs. It has, though, maintained a respectable entertainment level overall, and of course the end game of all this has been to bring back the Multiverse. I’ve always been a Multiverse fan, growing up reading comics in the late 1970s/ early 1980s when the Jsa Earth-2 were two of my favourite things in comics (and still are). This book looks tailor-made for me, throw in the fact it’s written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Dan Jurgens and Norm Rapmund, classic DC creators all, and we should have a winner. Hopefully.
Let’s take a look.
The opening splash page is a doozy, with Barry Allen telling us ‘I’m looking for the man who...

Though we may be film school rejects, one person who definitely didn’t get turned away at admissions when he signed up for classes was Werner Herzog. The director has been an artist in residence at Dartmouth College for the past semester, working with film students on their projects and giving screenings and seminars on his own films. Now, it seems that Herzog college-hopped over to the University of Vermont for a special exercise in student filmmaking – as in he’s making his own student film. University of Vermont professor Peter Gruner Shellenberger, a visiting lecturer in film and photography, took some of his students up to Dartmouth to hear Herzog speak at one of his screenings. In a surprisingly bold move, Shellenberger brought with him a Super-8 camera preloaded with film and presented it to the director like some kind of holy offering (presumably down on one knee), and asked him to make a film for...

Alright here’s the thing, Pole matches sometimes (and I mean rarely) have a useful premise. For example if a wrestler has been using a personal weapon unfairly, it’s a good match to even the playing field and give the heel a taste of his own medicine. Whilst in the WWE, William Regal used brass knuckles to his advantage, so Edge vs. Regal in a “Brass Knuckles on a Pole Match” made at least some sense. But over the years, the “On a Pole” stipulation has seen its fair share of ridiculous moments, and we mostly have WCW and Vince Russo to thank.
Here’s a selection of some of the worst/weirdest/most pointless “On a Pole” Stipulations in wrestling history.
