Rachel Recchia is causing some more speculation. Pic credit: @pilot.rachel/Instagram
Season 19 co-Bachelorette, Rachel Recchia, has had quite a season so far on the show.
Rachel has had many ups and even more downs this season. It seems as if the leading woman has definitely had her share of tears as the show has aired.
As some Bachelor Nation viewers have dissed her choice of clothing and how her wardrobe stylist must hate her, Rachel and Cary himself have defended their choices.
Now Rachel is being criticized again by some fans, but for a much different reason than her style and what she has worn.
From the time Rachel was on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor to now as the co-Bachelorette, there has been speculation about Rachel’s appearance.
In fact, they have been talking about whether Rachel has gone under the knife since her time in the Bachelor franchise.

NBC made its mark on Tuesday’s primetime with a notable premiere for its dinosaur-sized sci-fi drama La Brea.
The disaster series that stars Natalie Zea, Jack Martin, Eoin Macken and Chiké Okonkwo drew in a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.20 million viewers, per Nielsen fast nationals. La Brea‘s premiere overshadowed two other new series, Fox’s Our Kind of People and CBS’ FBI: International, which dropped from their premieres last week both in ratings and viewership.
La Brea showed fairly strong retention from its lead-in, the latest episode of The Voice. The singing competition topped Tuesday in both ratings and viewership and was steady with last week’s two-hour episode.
NBC’s evening closed off with a new episode of New Amsterdam, which couldn’t capture the momentum of its preceding titles.

Ivan Hall had a rough time in Paradise. He first pursued Jessenia Cruz, before she left him for another contestant. His relationship with Kendall Long was short-lived after she exited not over her ex. And as the rose ceremony approached, he had no prospects to stay on the beach.
However, an unexpected romance brewed between him and Chelsea Vaughn, who had been tied to Aaron Clancy. Ivan and Chelsea made out, which angered Aaron and led to a confrontation between the men. The two got in each other’s faces, and the whole beach chimed in on who was in the wrong.

Things went from messy to messier for Ivan Hall on Bachelor in Paradise. On the Tuesday, Sept. 28 episode, Wells Adams pulled Ivan aside for a private conversation to discuss his behavior from the night prior while he and the cast had been sequestered at a hotel amid a dangerous storm. During the chat, Ivan came clean about having snuck out of his hotel room late at night and using a producer's phone that he found in his room to track down the hotel room for Alexa Caves, an alum of Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor who had not yet appeared on the show and was apparently going to arrive on beach in the coming days. According to Ivan, he was "feeling lost" that...

An eventful cocktail party dominated Tuesday’s “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The episode resumed with conflict between enemies Aaron Clancy and Thomas Jacobs over their love triangle with Tammy Ly. Tammy tried and failed to de-escalate Aaron, who was emotional and felt “betrayed” by her actions. Her cries were met with hostility, and the two ended their relationship before the rose ceremony.
Another love triangle was in the midst of exploding, as Karl Smith and Chasen Nick fought over Deandra Kanu. Karl had given Deandra a bracelet as a gift to show his affection, and Nick opted to give her a necklace to one-up the gesture. Deandra returned the bracelet to Karl, noting that she didn’t want to lead him on.
Nick’s gift rubbed Karl the wrong way, who accused him of trying to compete.

Just when it seemed that Bachelor in Paradise couldn't possibly get more dramatic, it goes and ups the ante. The ABC dating show's latest week saw five cast members get sent packing, following the emergence of a number of tense love triangles. This week, more problems arose with such new arrivals as Becca Kufrin, Kendall Long, Tia Booth, Thomas Jacobs, Chasen Nick and Chris Conran. Chris immediately hit it off with Jessenia Cruz, which left Ivan Hall questioning his future. Meanwhile, Tia caused issues for Demi...

Season 25 of The Bachelor premiered last week, introducing us to eligible gent Matt James, aka the show's first Black bachelor. If you didn't brush up on every detail of Matt's life prior to the premiere, you may have been surprised to learn that Matt is actually biracial. Although his mother is white, society identifies Matt as Black, via America's nefarious one-drop rule: one drop of Black blood makes a person Black, regardless of if one parent is of a different race. The one-drop rule may be an antiquated way to measure Black identity in American culture, but it is still the yardstick by which Matt James's Bachelor season will be defined.
"Although the one-drop rule doesn't have the same legal status it once had, it has continued to inform America's racial hierarchy as well as our assignment of Black racial identity."

In between the shirtless workout b-roll, the vibrator that seemed to be in every room, and all of the Queen Victoria drama featured during The Bachelor's premiere, there was one thing that all the contestants couldn't stop talking about: the prayer led by season 25 lead Matt James.
Kicking off his opening address to the group of women with a prayer set a tone for the rest of the season for both the contestants and the audience. Matt immediately makes it clear that his Christian faith is important to him, saying that praying "recenters" him when he's anxious. Though it looked like many of the women respected and appreciated the time he took to center himself with his faith, I wonder if there were contestants that felt odd, uncomfortable, or even disrespected in that moment because their religious beliefs were different from his. Matt James is the first Black lead of “The Bachelor.”
After nearly two decades on-air and 25 seasons of the flagship show, ABC’s hit dating series is hitting a milestone — and its star knows it’s a big deal.
“I felt that pressure — I’m not going to lie — initially,” James tells Variety about holding the title of the first Black Bachelor.
James is biracial, but identifies as Black. Growing up with a Black father and white mother, the 28-year-old North Carolina native says the way he is viewed in the world has resulted in him living his life as a Black man — and his life experiences will be similar to those of his future kids, which he hopes, are a result of his love story on national TV.

Tayshia Adams just wasn't down for an interfaith relationship. At least, that's what Ivan Hall claims was the reason the pair didn't work out on The Bachelorette. During Tuesday night's season finale, fans were surprised when the Bachelorette suddenly revealed that "morals and my beliefs" came between them, as she instead accepted Zac Clark's proposal. Eliminated contestant Ben Smith returned at the end of the first half of the two-part finale of “The Bachelorette” to ask Tayshia Adams for a second chance. But his surprise return didn’t end up stealing the spotlight from her true TV love, and the episode concluded with her picking her man and him proposing.
“I sent him home for a reason,” she told a producer offscreen about Ben.
Despite that, though, she listened to his proclamation of love and invited him to the rose ceremony to compete against fellow contestants Zac Clark and Ivan Hall. On his exit from her hotel room, the two shared a passionate kiss, which prompted conflicting reactions.
“Why did I kiss him!?” she reflected.

Tayshia Adams had whittled away her Bachelorette contestant pool to the final three men ahead of the fantasy suites, but it looks like there may be a sliver of hope for Ben Smith stans following his elimination. During the Dec. 15 episode, Adams enjoyed thoughtful "hometown" dates around the La Quinta Resort and met family members of Smith, Ivan Hall, Zac Clark, and Brendan Morais. At the rose ceremony she wound up sending Smith packing, leaving him in visible shock over the decision, especially because he didn't have the chance to tell Adams that he'd fallen in love with her yet.
"The last two weeks showed me a lot about the things I was feeling for you," the 29-year-old personal trainer said, but he didn't drop the "L" word. Following his departure, Adams told the camera, "I'm not asking for this grand gesture, but the fact he couldn't give me one...

Last week, Tayshia Adam’s goodbye with contestant Ben Smith was less than satisfying. Disappointed at his lack of emotion, the titular Bachelorette sent him packing, leaving Brendan Morais, Zac Clark and Ivan Hall as her final three. All three headed to fantasy suites — the first real moment of potential privacy during an overnight date.
While Tayshia was still “riding the high” from hometown week, she revealed reservations going into fantasy suites to former Bachelorette (and fill-in host) JoJo Fletcher.
Meanwhile, host Chris Harrison filled in the men about the “more serious, more emotional, more intimate” week ahead. Ivan went first, leaving the other men reflecting on their own relationships.
“Hearing the other guys talk about where they’re at… I think I’m just in a different spot. There’s just been...

Typically, at this point in a season of “The Bachelorette,” viewers have a fairly strong idea of who the leading lady will pick as her future fiancé. But with Tayshia Adams’ two-part finale beginning tonight, a winner isn’t quite as obvious as it has been in past seasons.
Adams stepped into “The Bachelorette” as a replacement original star Clare Crawley, who found love early with contestant Dale Moss, therefore departing the season just a few weeks in. This was an unprecedented turn of events for the dating show. But host Chris Harrison says that the switch-up isn’t necessarily the reason why a clear winner hasn’t emerged.
“At the end of the day, she got pretty much the same exact amount of time that all the other Bachelorettes get,” Harrison says of Adams’ time dating on TV.
“I just think she doesn’t really have a type, which...

Tayshia Adams’ final four headed to hometowns! Well, sort of.
Traditionally, the last four contestants standing — in this case, Ben Smith, Zac Clark, Brendan Morais and Ivan Hall — would spend a day touring their hometown before introducing the Bachelorette to their friends and family. However, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, host Chris Harrison explained that the franchise was forced to make adjustments.
In lieu of a cross-country tour, each finalist designed their own “hometown date” at the La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, Calif., where the season was in production. The makeshift dates were an attempt to localize the desert resort, and give Tayshia a look into each man’s local lifestyle. Harrison then announced that the date would be followed by a visit from the men’s families — as each contestant was...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched the episode of “The Bachelorette” that aired on Dec. 14 on ABC.
This season of “The Bachelorette” has been billed as the most dramatic season ever. It’s also perhaps the most real season the reality show franchise has seen in its nearly 20-year history.
On a recent episode, contestant Ben Smith, an Army veteran, shared with “Bachelorette” star Tayshia Adams that he had two failed suicide attempts in 2018 and 2019.
On another recent episode, contestant Zac Clark, an addiction specialist who runs a sober living facility in New York, told Adams on their date that he is in recovery, having spent time in rehab for both drugs and alcohol.
And earlier in the season, Adams spoke about the Black Lives Matters movement and police brutality during a date with contestant Ivan Hall.

Last week’s episode brought Bennett Jordan back into the pool of Tayshia Adams’ contestants. This week, another man returned: host Chris Harrison.
After leaving the property to help move his son to college, Chris returned to offer Tayshia some advice going into the week. They discussed the process of narrowing her remaining seven (eight with the returned Bennett) down to four leading into hometowns. “The honeymoon phase, if you will, is kind of over at this point,” Tayshia told him. “I started to really put my future into perspective.”
Blake Moynes’ relationship was the first to be considered, as the two-headed to their first one-on-one date. Blake — who had originally fallen hard for the season’s first Bachelorette, Clare Crawley — had asked Tayshia for patience as he navigated those feelings. Since then,...

Every season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette promises to be the most dramatic yet, and while I'm tired of hearing the hyperbole, it does seem like the over-the-top exploitation of contestants does seem to heighten with every passing season. But at what point is it too much? This season of The Bachelorette has been a roller coaster from the start, factoring in Covid-19, a runaway Bachelorette, and more drama than I can deal with. But what this season is also packed with is so many personal tragedies that I'm starting to feel really uncomfortable with as a viewer.
From the moment Tayshia Adams took over for Clare Crawley this season, she's been straightforward about wanting genuine honesty from her suitors. Valid. She should get that. What she's getting in return are a lot of sob stories that, while genuine, are stories of deep-seated tragedy that really don't need to...

Tuesday’s episode of “The Bachelorette” picked up with the continued feud between contestants Noah Erb and Bennett Jordan. The two were scheduled for an impromptu two-on-one date with Bachelorette Tayshia Adams, where at least one constant would be sent home.
“Is this what goes on between you two? ‘Cause this sounds honestly like teenage boy drama and the fact that I have to sit here and listen to you guys talking about this is ridiculous,” she told them.
She took turns interrogating each man — questioning them about their intentions, their motivations, and their participation in the drama. With Bennett, Tayshia expressed frustration that he said there was “zero chance” that Noah and Tayshia would end up together, which she interpreted as questioning her judgment and her integrity.

“Bachelorette” contestant Ivan Hall has quickly become a fan favorite since Tayshia Adams took over for Clare Crawley after she got engaged to to Dale Moss earlier this season. But how much do you really know about this sweet and sensitive 28-year-old from Dallas,?
Ivan caught Tayshia’s attention on last week’s episode when he won the songwriting contest, earning him some alone time with her. But he caught fans’ attention when he started a conversation with Tayshia about race and police brutality in America. The conversation was a first for “The Bachelor” franchise, which has been criticized for its lack of racial diversity multiple times in the past, and fans applauded his refreshingly authentic and genuine approach to the issue.
It all started when Ivan opened up to Tayshia about his younger brother, who was incarcerated and whom he said experienced police brutality first-hand within the criminal justice system.

I don't know if you've heard, but The Bachelor franchise has a bit of a diversity problem. The show has been called out by contestants and fans alike, and after 40 seasons, 18 years, and one Black lead, the nation got two biracial leads: Tayshia Adams and Matt James. Tayshia's season of The Bachelorette feels like a godsend of drama and authentic romance, but a date during the most recent episode highlighted exactly how badly the show needs diversity.

Sixteen men remained in hopes of pursuing titular Bachelorette Tayshia Adams on Tuesday’s episode of “The Bachelorette.” Those men reflected on the previous dates poolside, but were interrupted by the arrival of host Chris Harrison.
“Lesson learned [from last week]: Tayshia likes bold,” he said.
The statement became a challenge for the week, as each date asked the men to show their most confident — or vulnerable — sides. Ivan Hall, in particular, opens up to Tayshia Adams as the two shared a quiet one-on-one date, during which they discussed the impact of Black Lives Matter.
But first, things started as a group date, during which seven contestants competed for a chance to earn additional one-on-one time with Tayshia. Each man was prompted to write a song for the Bachelorette, in an attempt to impress her with their lyrics and confidence.

Bennett faced obstacles in the early round and was forced to forfeit the physical challenge due to an old football injury, but was ultimately crowned the champion after excelling in the breakfast in bed challenge.
