Donald Lee Harris was born on August 13, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a production designer and art director, known for Can't Buy Me Love (1987), Eerie, Indiana (1991) and Invasion (1997). He died on November 1, 2022 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
He and H.R. Poindexter were awarded the 1973 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Distinguished Lighting Design for the play, "Cyrano De Bergerac," at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
