Not unlike a week without sunshine, so was this Bianca-less week of All My Children. While I may be biased due to my Binx devotion, the show just lacks a certain realism and heart without her presence. Since Eden Riegel is on guest star status, it’s hard to say what Bianca’s future will be on the show. Also, there was no Miranda this week either. We need some Kane blood coursing through Pine Valley, stat! Kendall, Bianca, Erica, anyone! Colby? I didn’t ask for another Chandler, dammit. Oh well.
When we last saw Jesse and Zach, they were raiding the Koslov’s hide out. It turns out their intel was right, but Cassandra had been moved before they got there. Jesse knows she was there by a note Cassandra carved into the wall before she was moved.

Greetings Binxians. Last week’s All My Children was a blaze of glory, culminating with Bianca’s ferocious lioness-like smackdown of Jr. This week’s AMC however, was more like a mewling lamb. We didn’t get much Bianca, and based on her dialogue this week, I fear she may be absent for a bit. It did give us a chance to catch up of some of the other characters in Pine Valley, but I know what you want. Binx. Binx. Binx. So, let’s start off on a good note.
Bianca and Miranda meet up at, where else, Jane’s Addiction. Both are in better spirits since their unfortunate experience in the Chandler Thunderdome. Miranda fills her mother in on her first day back at school, post-Hunter scandal and tells that all is well. Bianca tells her daughter that Uncle Zach is in town,...

This week, All My Children began their abbreviated schedule of Monday and Wednesday airings. Viewer’s habits have changed, and it appears AMC has taken note of this and is trying to go with the flow. While the shortened week did give us fewer Bianca scenes than we’d like to see, the Bianca we did get was pretty damn epic.
Last week, Miranda walked out on her mother during a heated discussion about Jr. Bianca, fresh from her heart-wrenching sojourn with Dr. David, arrives at the Chandler house to finish where she and Miranda left off. Bianca tries to be hip and break the ice, which is awkwardly adorable. Miranda dismisses her once again and says she’s over it. Well, too bad, because Bianca isn’t. She digs in her heels and Aj gets the hint and flees. He is a smart boy,...

The action continues this week on All My Children, both onscreen and off. In big casting news, Michael Nader will be reprising his role as Dmitri Marick, beginning June 3. This comes hot of the heels of the report that Susan Lucci will soon be in talks to return as well. Looks like the population of Pine Valley will continue to grow. Now, on to this week’s recap. Brace yourselves Minxians, there is a lot of Marissa processing ahead.
Bianca and Zach meet up at Jane’s Addiction, because since Kendall and Erica aren’t around, he’s the only person left to talk to in Pine Valley. Oh, and I guess he is the father of one of her children and stuff. Anyway, Binx needs a shoulder to cry on and Zach offers his designer suited one. She tells Zach about the...

The new All My Children web series debuted this week to much fanfare and positive ratings. Most excitingly for lesbian fans of the show, it includes our beloved Bianca Montgomery (played by the originator of the role, Eden Riegel). While the cast is a lot smaller and many longtime characters did not return (including Kendall, Greenlee, Tad, and Erica Kane herself), the new web series format feels sleeker and I daresay, rather hip. The show picks up five years after that fateful night at the Chandler House where shots rang out during an otherwise happy engagement party. Jr, father to Aj and ex to Marissa, was the man behind the gun, and his actions would change the fate of many in Pine Valley. Here is a little something to catch you up to speed.
