If there's been one positive piece of Lindsay Lohan news lately, it's been the amazing makeover her rental home recently received on Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators. Interior design guru Kathryn Ireland was able to liven up LiLo's space and gave the home such a beautiful makeover, the owner is actually raising the rent for the next tenant! Our absolute favorite part of the transformation was the miracle Kathryn worked in the master bedroom (seriously, Chanel bags were the featured "before décor"). So, when we got a chance to chat with Kathryn, we asked her to give us three tips that any of us could use to make over our own master bedrooms. Here's what she had to say: 1. Get a...

Washington, Jan 10: Lindsay Lohan's new furniture was almost repossessed by 'Million Dollar Decorators' bosses, after she refused to film for the big reveal, it has been revealed.
According to a source, producers of 'Million Dollar Decorator' and interior designers did that as they were furious with the troubled star for bailing on the big reveal of her former Beverly Hills rental house.
The source said that Kathryn Ireland in particular was absolutely angry and pissed off at Lohan for her antics, as she had devoted a lot of time to the project.
TV channel Bravo had attempted to get the furniture back, but Lohan shifted.

Just hours after gushing over Lindsay Lohan’s home on Million Dollar Decorators we’ve heard a rumor that Bravo TV wants to repossess the $250,000 worth of furniture that was given to Lohan for the project.
According to Radar Online, producers and interior designers were so angry with Lohan for not appearing at the big reveal on her former Beverly Hills home, they “attempted to repossess the furniture and flooring that was gifted to her. Kathryn Ireland in particular was absolutely steamed and pissed off at Lindsay's antics as she devoted a lot of time to the project,” a source told the website.
The report also says that since Lohan moved out of the house, she has put the gifted decor in an unknown storage. But that supposedly isn’t going to stop Ireland and the team from getting the goods back. “Just because the pricey furnishings are in storage...

We have to admit, we were a little disheartened to watch Million Dollar Decorator's season finale after learning that Lindsay Lohan's home, which Kathryn Ireland had decorated, was back on the market. But being true decor junkies, we had to watch to see Ireland's vision come to life and her designs definitely perked us right up!
The show kicked off with Ireland, Lohan and designer Martyn Bullard picking out wood floors for Lohan's bedroom. As we learned in the previous episode, Lohan wanted to have rooms similar to that of Paris' Plaza Athenee hotel, craving "French-cottage-shabby-chic" designs. And the actress was ecstactic when Ireland picked out the white-bleached floors she had her own eyes on. And things continued to go great at Grange when the duo picked out a $2,500 grey chaise lounge and $800 desk for LiLo's bedroom.
However, it soon got messy when Lohan was in a car accident...

Did Lindsay Lohan get evicted from her high-priced rental home? Not quite. While the actress is done with the digs, a source tells E! that Lindsay always paid her rent on time, left the place immaculate and even described her as "the perfect tenant." In fact, thanks to a little help from Kathryn Ireland of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators, Lindsay's tenancy might have actually helped raise the value of the Beverly Hills, Calif., house! For the season finale of the show, Kathryn and her team gave the interior of Lohan's pad a face-lift. Though the actress was reportedly renting the home for $8000 a month, the current asking price for the pad is $10,450 a month, according...

The best way for us to start off the New Year? Getting a peek at Lindsay Lohan's home on "Million Dollar Decorators," of course!
We've been anxiously awaiting this Bravo episode for weeks now and it finally arrived... and it was jam-packed with drama, decor and therapy sessions -- yes, therapy sessions.
The show kicked off with designer Kathryn Ireland getting ready to meet Lohan in her reportedly $8,000 a month Venice home. In true Ireland fashion, she first poked fun at Lohan's legal troubles. "You need to get your first prison sentence out of the way. It's like your first marriage." But she quickly transformed from designer to therapist once she entered the nearly bare abode.
The two spoke a lot about "new beginnings" and making the home a safe place for Lohan. "This house is a fresh start for Lindsay. It'll make her feel secure and really ground her,...

"Million Dollar Decorators" nabbed a big-name client when Lindsay Lohan hired Kathryn Ireland to decorate her new home in Los Angeles. While the big reveal won't be happening until next week's season finale, this proved to be Lindsay's only appearance on the show. She didn't show up for the taping of the big reveal.
Still, she was on hand to talk about the significance of this redesign in her life. For both Kathryn and Lindsay, the idea was to use the new look for the home to symbolize a "new chapter" in Lindsay's life.
"To be making these kind of decisions is really exciting for me," Lindsay said. "Because I’ve never took the time to do that before, so that’s why it means so much more."
For Lindsay, the redecorating process was another step in her long journey toward trying to find herself. "In order to become yourself,...

What would you do if someone gave your home a $200,000 makeover? After you stopped screaming, you’d probably start acting like a total weirdo, right? That’s certainly what Stacey Dash and Lindsay Lohan did during their respective appearances on Million Dollar Decorators. Which actress got nuttier? Let’s break down their episodes and see:
First of all, let’s talk about Lindsay’s room. Based on the preview for her episode airing January 1, 90% of Lilo’s furniture is comprised of old sunglasses cases, her bed frame is made of mirrors and her bedding looks…well, it looks like our bedding. It’s offensively boring. On the other hand, Lindsay looks amazing and seems on her game as she shows host Kathryn Ireland around her home. “I feel safe here. That’s the most important thing,” Lilo said of her new digs. As for the part where the show spent...

Lindsay Lohan has had plenty of ups and downs in 2012 -- she starred in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick," had a few run-ins with the police, and some very public family drama. In this sneak peek from the episode we get a glimpse inside Lindsay's cluttered life ... er ... house.Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Lilo was having problems footing the rent for her $8,000/month Los Angeles home. After all the negative feedback Lindsay Lohan received for her performance in "Liz & Dick," the actress is bravely stepping back into the spotlight. Or is she?
At a New Year's Eve party last year, Lohan reportedly asked famous decorator Kathryn Ireland if she could be the subject of an episode of Bravo's "Million Dollar Decorators."
After spending over $200,000 on the actress, Lohan announced she would not be appearing on the show's reveal episode, according to Radarr.
While Bravo stated that Lohan "was not available for the reveal shoot, but we were still able to capture the outcome, just like we do for many of the reveal episodes," Ireland wasn't quite as complacent.
"I didn't know who she was when I met her," Ireland told "The New York Post." "It was only when she said to her sister, 'Wouldn't you love a mother like her?' that I thought 'How rude'...

Lindsay Lohan just can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble.
According to TMZ the “Liz & Dick” actress has scorned Bravo TV’s “Million Dollar Decorators” by refusing to film the “big reveal" of her Beverly Hills home after the show spent a reported $200,000 renovating it.
The entire remodel process was filmed, and Hollyscoop even had photos of Lohan shopping with designer Kathryn Ireland for furniture which included Venetian table lamps and sofas. And according to TMZ, Lohan was completely onboard but then suddenly decided against taping the final shot. Bravo producers are supposedly trying to put the episode together without Lohan.
But that’s just the start of all this trouble. TMZ is also reporting Lohan can’t even pay the $8,000 rent on said house and unsuccessfully has tried to break the lease. She will remain responsible for the home until February 2013 when the lease is up.

Reese Witherspoon is saying bye-bye to her home-away-from-home in Ojai, Calif.
The 36-year-old actress placed her massive ranch compound on the market Monday for a whopping $10 million -- almost double the price she reportedly paid for it back in 2008.
Known as the Libbey Ranch, the property was built in 1923 as a horse stable for Ojai's founding father Edward Libbey. Renowned Southern California architect Wallace Neff designed a barn on the property that is now a four-bedroom home, and former owner Kathryn Ireland, interior decorator to the stars, completely overhauled and restored the property before Witherspoon bought it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In a spread for home design magazine Elle Decor, Witherspoon gushed about the home's "restorative" properties. "The air is fresh, the phone isn't ringing, you can't access e-mail. Time slows down. Within an hour I'm lying on that couch taking a big fat nap," she says in Elle Decor.

Even though she's married to a Brit and has homes in the Hamptons, New York City and London, the Best Coast has drawn Gwyneth Paltrow to Los Angeles.
The Oscar-winning actress, cookbook author, and web entrepreneur -- who recently starred in "The Avengers" and will appear in "Iron Man 3" -- is known for being a East Coast girl. As she was mostly raised in New York (she even has an iPad app about the city), and is an avid fan of the English lifestyle, it's surprising that Paltrow would choose to spend close to $10.45 million on a pad in La. Yet our city has much to boast about, and even the actress clearly recognizes that.
Paltrow's new mansion still references her East Coast roots, though, with a chic New England style. The 8,000 square-foot Mandeville Canyon home was built as a concept house by designer Windsor Smith, and includes rooms...

Lindsay Lohan is cashing in on her comeback film and TV roles by redecorating her home - and she's televising the makeover.
The actress was spotted furniture shopping at Beverly Hills' exclusive Kreiss showroom on Tuesday with in-demand interior decorator Kathryn Ireland and a camera crew - and now reports suggest her spending spree will feature on reality TV show Million Dollar Decorator later this year.
An insider tells HollyScoop.com, "The show will air in America this coming fall."
Ireland is not new to celebrity demands - her clients have included Steve Martin, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and director/playwright David Mamet.
The website reports Lohan's shopping spree at Kreiss was a big hit and the actress went home with two St. Regis sofas, two St. Regis armchairs, a pair of Venetian table lamps and two cast bronze candlestick lamps and an array of outdoor furniture.
Lohan is currently prepping her new Beverly Hills home after moving out of her former pad in Venice, California, where she spent a period under house arrest last year.
