Jack Jenney was born on 12 May 1910 in Mason City, Iowa, USA. He was an actor, known for Syncopation (1942). He was married to Kay Thompson and Bonnie Lake. He died on 16 December 1945 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Trombonist who was arguably the greatest of the Big Band/Swing era, and
played with Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Artie Shaw as well as a renown band
leader. He's best remembered for his solo on Shaw's recording of
"Stardust."
