- In 1962, he wrote the screenplay for "The Sound and the Fidelity", one of the pilot episodes produced for a proposed TV anthology series called "The Victor Borge Comedy Theatre."
- In 1976, he wrote the teleplay for the pilot for a proposed comedy series called, "Dad's Army". Based on the popular British sitcom of the same name, this version was set on Long Island during the early days of World War II. The local population is convinced that Nazi spies are in their midst and an attack by the German army is imminent.
