Exclusive: TV anchor Sage Steele has replaced Candace Owens in the voice cast of The Daily Wire’s upcoming animated sitcom Mr Birchum, following the latter’s recent exit from the right wing news platform.
The former ESPN anchor joins voice cast of Megyn Kelly, Brett Cooper, Adam Carolla (who created the show), Roseanne Barr, Danny Trejo, Rob Riggle, Patrick Warburton, Tyler Fischer, Alonzo Bodden, Kyle Dunnigan, and Jay Mohr.
Steele will play the role of Deena, who is married to Mr. Birchum’s best friend Gage. The role was previously due to be played by Owens who exited The Daily Wire last month. Her exit followed clashes with co-founder Ben Shapiro over the Israel-Hamas war.

Exclusive: Conservative media outlet The Daily Wire has commissioned its first animated scripted series, Mr Birchum, created by comedian and radio host Adam Carolla.
The series follows Carolla’s junior high woodshop teacher popularized on Kroq radio and brought to life in puppet form on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers.
In this animated update, according to producers, “Mr. Birchum attempts to navigate a world he doesn’t understand or approve of. He’s befuddled by his gaming streamer son, Eddie (Dunnigan), annoyed at his selfie-taking, snowflake students and is constantly at war with the school district’s appointed “J.E.D.I.” Mr. Karponzi (Fischer).”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave (daughter of musician John Mellencamp) and comedic social influencer Jack Vale have been added to the cast of Next Level, a Ya dance drama directed by A Cinderella Story producer Ilyssa Goodman. Starring Chloe Lukasiak, Lauren Orlando, and Emily Skinner the film follows teens who compete for best performer of the summer while at Next Level, a specialized dance/hip-hop/songwriting performing arts program. Byron Kavanagh penned the screenplay, which is being produced by Kristi Kaylor and Lisa McGuire of The Loft Entertainment.
