Fritz Kleinman(1897-1943)

He studied in Krakow, Vienna and Paris. He was the author of drawings that appeared in the Lviv press, including: in the satirical weekly "Szczutek" and in "Sygnaly" and "Chwila". He created paintings in watercolors and pastels, and rarely painted with oil paints[. Together with Kazimierz Sichulski, he created a gallery of caricatures of writers and artists in the "Atlas" restaurant in Lviv. The paintings were signed by "Fryc Kleinman". In the 1930s, he was mainly involved in painting and scenography, as well as designing costumes and puppets for the Lviv theaters: the Semafor satirical theater, the Jewish Theater and the Warsaw theaters: Azazel and Ararat.
