Oliver Knott graduated from Plymouth College of Art, where his
graduation film "White Out" won first prize at the Omega International
Film Festival. At The Scottish Film School, Napier University, he
gained an MSc in Directing and took "The Wednesday Club", his new
graduation film, to numerous international film festivals.
Subsequently, he directed award-winning medical educational programmes
before financing a short, "Dealer", which won The Big 'H' Production
Award in 1996. His next short, "Bare Knuckle", was premiered at Cannes,
and he has recently been commissioned to write three screenplays. FREE
SPIRITS (2000) is his feature film debut.
