Personal Quotes (1)
It's very odd that more film makers starting out don't shoot on film negative. I guess if it's a personal project it's cheaper as you can recycle drives. But on a pro-sumer level you can't compete with what the studios still use. In their case, it's not cheaper, it's a matter of control. Studios set the look of your movie. Obviously on my level, digital would be the way, but I still find a way to shoot on film. It's easier for me. An added production value. Film is glossy and permanent.
