The “Rust” shooting case is still ongoing. After a series of investigations concerning the infamous shooting that happened on Oct. 21, 2021, during the filming of Alec Baldwin’s movie “Rust” at Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, prosecutors have come up with a new set of arguments.
According to an April 8 court filing which was obtained by People, prosecutors are arguing that while on set, the movie’s executive producer wasn’t the best person to work with as he was always flaring up and lashing out at the crew.
In their words, Baldwin had “absolutely no control of his own emotions.” They also shared that before the unfortunate incident took place, Baldwin was “frequently screaming and cursing.”
This new development came after Baldwin’s legal team filed a motion last month to overthrow the charges against him that were re-filed back in January in an indictment from a New Mexico grand jury.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the Rust armorer who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the October 2021 death of Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of the indie Western, now faces a second charge: tampering with evidence.
The special prosecutors in the case said Thursday in a court filing that the second count alleges “the above-named defendant did transfer narcotics to another person with the intent to prevent the apprehension, prosecution or conviction of herself.”
No other details were provided. Like the involuntary manslaughter charge, the new charge is a fourth-degree felony.
Gutierrez-Reed’s defense team today filed a new motion (read it here) to dismiss the two charges, with attorney Jason Bowles citing a letter sent by the New Mexico District Attorney’s lead investigator in the case raising questions about “the conduct of the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office during and after their initial investigation.”

Prosecutors in the “Rust” case are accusing the film’s armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed of “likely” being hung over when she loaded the gun with the bullet that ultimately killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, something her lawyers have called “character assassination.”
While charges against “Rust” star Alec Baldwin were dismissed, Gutierrez-Reed remains charged with a count of involuntary manslaughter in the “Rust” case. And on Friday, June 9, prosecutors in New Mexico responded to her lawyer’s motion to dismiss those charges.
The special prosecutors in their response wrote off the motion as “laughable” but also revealed that they will have witness testimony that Gutierrez-Reed was drinking and smoking in the evenings leading up to the “Rust” shooting.
“Witnesses in the current case will testify that Defendant Gutierrez was drinking heavily and smoking marijuana in the evenings during the shooting of ‘Rust.’ It is likely that Defendant Gutierrez was hung over when she...

Special prosecutors in New Mexico have dropped involuntary manslaughter charges against Alec Baldwin. The charges come from the 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film Rust.
The prosecutors, Kari T. Morrissey and Jason J. Lewis, stated that “further investigation and forensic analysis” was needed in light of new facts coming to light. This all comes before the preliminary hearing that was scheduled on May 3.

Morrissey and Lewis explained that the decision “does not absolve Mr. Baldwin of criminal culpability and charges may be refiled.”
The new information in the case was that the prop gun involved in the shooting had been modified.
Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was wounded on October 21, 2021, when a gun being held by Baldwin discharged. At the time, Baldwin had been told the gun did not contain live ammunition. The...

He may be known for visiting restaurants across the country on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, but Guy Fieri says that he actually doesn’t eat out that much in his day-to-day life. In fact, he prefers to keep things healthy at home with whole grains and lots of greens.
“I eat out less at restaurants than anybody you’ve ever met, because I do a lot of that on ,” the Food Network Star told People. “My favorite thing to do in the world is cook ”
And despite the fame he’s garnered from his culinary talent, Fieri says that was never the goal.

Mark Hamill has had a very successful career as a voiceover artist, and it all started with The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. Hamill now lends his voice to a completely different character in the DC Universe as Swamp Thing in the Justice League Action series.
In the clip for the upcoming episode "Zombie King," we see Swamp Thing get into a fight with Solomon Grundy. I don't know if you've been watching this series or not, but there are aspects of it that I like. It's not the greatest animated series, but it's got some fun moments.
The voice cast for the series also includes Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill pulling double duty as the Joker, James Woods as Lex Luthor, Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold, Sean Astin as Shazam, Rachel Kimsey as Wonder Woman, Jason J. Lewis as Superman, Chris Diamantopoulos as Green Arrow, and Josh Keaton as Green Lantern.

Following the beloved legacies of Justice League and its sequel series Justice League Unlimited is no easy task, but that's exactly what the next DC Comics animated series, Justice League Action, will have to do when it premieres on November 27th. However, if you were hoping for a Justice League redux that brought us back to the Golden Age of DC animation, well, you may want to temper your expectations just a bit as the first three clips strongly suggest the series will forge a considerably different path, with a tone much better suited to a younger demographic. The series will feature the returns of both Kevin Conroy & Mark Hamill as the voices of the Batman & Joker, respectively. It will also star Jason J. Lewis as the voice of Superman, Rachel Kimsey as the voice of Wonder Woman, James Woods as the voice of Lex Luthor, Josh Keaton as the voice of Green Lantern,...
