- (November 12, 2011 - February 26, 2012) He played Porgy in George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin's musical, "Porgy and Bess," at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in New York City with Audra McDonald (played Bess) and David Alan Grier in the cast.
- (May 12, 2014) Norm Lewis is scheduled to star as The Phantom in the Broadway production of "The Phantom of the Opera" along side Sierra Boggess. Norm is the first African American to play The Phantom on Broadway. Sierra and Norm previously starred in "The Little Mermaid" together.
