- Texan-born actress and dancer who appeared in Italian spaghetti westerns and sword-and-sandal epics in the 1960s. When her screen career ended, she moved to the Seychelles where she worked as a teacher, artist and community activist. Her non-profit APANA studio produced pottery, glass and paper in efforts to help the locals create sustainable exports.
- Created the non-profit organization Atelye pour Aprann Nouvo Artizana (Apana) in October of 1991. The organization aimed to promote encourage and teach art, ceramics, sculpture, music and other forms of creative art expression to all age groups and to also create and market finished designs and enhance the development of skills.
