Director. He read law and pursued practice as a barrister. Beside this
he worked as a journalist and painter as well. In 1917 he established a
film factory with the name Lux. First he is managing director, later
art director, finally leading film director of his company. In the
twenties in Vienna he established a new enterprise named Gaby Film. In
1929 he returned to Budapest. The first sound picture of standard size
is his work as well: A kék bálvány (1931). He also shot in the
Palestine as a guest: Ez a föld (1935, Palestinian).
