- SpouseSylvester Eugene Strand(November 14, 1945 - May 11, 2007) (her death, 5 children)
- Child actress in silent films after her family moved to L.A. and she won the Ideal Screen Baby contest.
- While working in "The City of Silent Men" I had to eat a whole cake. Of course it was a small one, but so was I small!
- I had a nurse, "Dottie," who took me to and from the Studio, when daddy didn't. She also stayed with me at home. I shall never forget the supply of Life Savers she carried around with her. If I was a good girl I received a candy, if not, no Life Saver!
- During "Bachelor Daddy," daddy and I went to to Phoenix. I don't mean we went there on a trip, but just while making the picture. We were there three weeks. They had a school house there where all the children that were in the picture went to school. Of course I was too small.
- When I was little, a favorite eating place of my parents was Pig 'n Whistle, across from Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. They served fresh pastries, and I would take half an hour or better trying to decide which one was best--was a tremendous decision for a 5-year old to have to make--they were all so yummy.
