A man who pleaded guilty to holding Lost star Josh Holloway hostage was officially sentenced to a minimum of 13 years in prison on Tuesday.
Ruben Royce entered a guilty plea to 34 offences as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors in February.
Royce broke into Holloway's house in October 2005, threatening the actor and his wife with a gun before stealing their wallets and their car.
During sentencing on Tuesday in a Honolulu, Hawaii court, Judge Karl Sakamoto ruled Royce must serve between 13 to 30 years behind bars after chastising him for being responsible for "a tidal wave of crime" that terrorised victims in their own homes.
Royce admitted to three other robberies and in January, he was also convicted of robbery, burglary, firearms violations and reckless endangerment stemming from a fifth incident.
The 23-year old also pleaded guilty to a variety of offences including kidnapping, first-degree robbery, burglary and autotheft.
Earlier this year Royce's lawyer Terry Marshall stated he was determined to get his client's sentence reduced as Royce "stepped up, because he is hoping to turn his life around".
