Before her wrestling career, she was a practicing registered nurse.
After WCW died, and the WWF was the only show in town, Madusa opted to
retire from the world of wrestling.
In December 1995, Eric Bischoff convinced Madusa to make a shocking appearance on WCW Monday Nitro (1995), by dropping the WWF Women's title belt into a garbage bin. The incident caused her to be blacklisted from Vince McMahon's organization for nearly twenty years.
