Joshua John Miller was born on December 26, 1974 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is a writer and actor, known for Near Dark (1987), The Final Girls (2015) and River's Edge (1986).

Younger half-brother of Jason Patric.
Son of actor Jason Miller and Sue Bernard.
Grandfather is the famous Bruno Bernard of Hollywood, renowned photographer during filmdom's Golden Era.
Attended Antioch College and Yale University.
Has written articles for Harper's Bazaar and Playboy.
Graduated Beverly Hills High School in 1992, where famous alumni included Nicolas Cage, Corbin Bernsen, Lenny Kravitz, Slash, David Schwimmer, Jonathan Silverman, and Richard Dreyfuss. When Josh was there, Breckin Meyer, Michael Klesic, Quincy Rose and Angelina Jolie.
Both he and his half-brother, Jason Patric, appeared in vampire movies released in 1987, Joshua in Near Dark (1987) and Jason in The Lost Boys (1987).
Of Irish Descent on his father's side.
Miller came close to landing the lead role in a supernatural thriller called The Gate (1987), when he was just starting out as a child actor. The film's producer, Andras Hamori, chose a then 10-year-old Stephen Dorff, instead.
His co-showrunner on Queen of the South, Mark Alexandre "M. A." Fortin, is also his romantic partner.
