For a lot of this season, fans (including myself) have felt parched for lack of warmth, cohesion, and general even keel on this show. Sure, they've delivered some great stories, some pretty incredible action sequences. But the character driven bits most of us love above all else have been lacking or are few and far between. This episode of Hawaii Five-0 (TV) felt like coming home. Back to what we love with the team we are invested in. In short, a damn fine example of what makes this show work. A couple of surfers are braving the big swells on the North Shore when they nearly get their heads taken off by a lame Cessna that takes a nose dive into the water. Aboard is and Ice agent who was obviously Doa at the time of the crash. Meanwhile, Danny (Scott Caan) sits in his new craptastic apartment, completely engrossed...
