The remake ‘Rajahs’ are back in action with the 5th consecutive remake. Just as it happened before in all their 4 films, they have blatantly reproduced the same stuffs from ‘Kick’. The original version directed by Surendar Reddy featured Ravi Teja and Ileana in lead roles. Now, with ‘Thillalangadi’ nothing seems to be changed as even the costumes have been replicated over and again in every frame.
Set in backdrops of Malaysia, the film opens with parents of Nisha (Thamannah) fixing marriage with Krishna Kumar (Shaam), who has traveled all the way to foreign country for a mission of catching a thief.

Ravi’s wife delivering a baby boy has been making good news from the family of Editor Mohan. But Raja is so desperate to look on his baby as he isn’t present here during the delivery. Alas! Simbhu never turns down the offer of Yuvan Shankar Raja as they’ve been the close pals from their childhood days. The paisanos have now come together again for a song in Jeyam Ravi’s ‘Thillalangadi’ directed by Raja.
Director Raja’s grandiose picturing of all songs in ‘Thillalangadi’ seems to had impressed Yuvan a lot and he planned to score a pending song with peppy Kuthu beats. Soon after the tuning the melody for Na. Muthukumar’s lyrics, Yuvan had likely preferred Silambarasan to croon the song. For a greater surprise, the recording was done within 3 hours of time and the entire crew is so confident that the song will do well amongst the audiences.
‘Thillalangadi’ started rolling last September and is now close on the heels of completion as Editor Mohan and Ags Entertainment have decided to release the film in March.
