Todd Moyer(I)

Todd Moyer is an entertainment executive and film producer with a
career that began in 1989. Presently, Todd is CEO of Dark Matter, a
transmedia company that specializes in turning comic books, graphic
novels, and young adult novels into film and television.
Prior to starting Dark Matter, Moyer was CEO of No Prisoners Productions for more than a decade. No Prisoners was a full service production, VFX and post-production company. During his time at No Prisoners, the company produced several feature films, and hundreds of music videos and commercials. Notable titles include Wing Commander (Matthew Lillard and Freddie Prinze Jr.) and George and the Dragon (Michael Clarke Duncan).
Mr. Moyer is also an expert at film finance and has often acted as a consultant to film producers, helping raise more than $200 million for independent feature films. Prior to starting No Prisoners, Todd was President of Seagal Nasso Productions. He also oversaw production of two Steve Seagal films at Warner Bros., Fire Down Below and Glimmerman.
Moyer gained significant knowledge working for Dark Horse Entertainment President Mike Richardson. Representing Dark Horse for the Irv Shechter Agency, he moved into a VP position in the company in 1992. During his time there, he was instrumental in setting up the deals for Timecop, Virus, and Barb Wire. He served as co-producer on Virus and Timecop as well as a producer on Barb Wire. He also arranged for a second look deal for the company with Polygram.
While Moyer was a literary agent at The Irv Schechter Company he represented many directors and writers including, John Turtletaub, Peter Jackson and Chuck Pfarrer. Moyer received a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1986 and a certificate in film production from The American Film Institute in 1988.
Recent projects include the just-completed Squatters and the upcoming feature Dreamt.
