- Joy Mukherjee was born on February 24, 1939 in Jhansi, United Provinces, British India. He was an actor and director, known for Humsaya (1968), Chhailla Babu (1977) and Love in Bombay (1974). He was married to Neelam Mukherjee. He died on March 9, 2012 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
